The Aerolite 21 inch Cabin suitcase is an ideal purchase for your carry-on luggage. The case capacity is ideal for a long weekend break or short business trip.
Its size means that it is ideal cabin hand luggage for use on the main airlines e.g. British Airways, EasyJet, Ryanair & Virgin.
The suitcase’s hard shell made of ABS material and is therefore robust enough for repeated journeys. This means you can relax and enjoy your travelling experience.
In addition, the case has the following features – packing straps, telescopic handle, wheels and zip closure.
All this comes at an economical price. The quality is comparable to suitcases that are three or four times more expensive.
If you require a larger suitcase there are two available in this model. The 26 inch medium suitcase and the 29 inch large suitcase.

Suitcase Construction
The suitcase is made of ABS hard plastic shell. This material helps to protect the contents when travelling.
ABS is a plastic material, which is strong, hard wearing and anti-scratch. It will scratch and scuff over time, but this is to be expected.
The material is also lightweight so keeping the weight of your suitcase light.
The Zippers
The large zippers on the main case make opening and closing the case easy. The zip has protecting strip on each side to prevent damage to the zip.
The Handle
Is a retractable trolley handle which you activate using a push button. This allows easy pulling of the case. The handle is comfortable to grip and hold.
You can lock the handle into several different heights for your comfort. It works well when extended to full height. However, there are complaints that the handle will sometimes collapse on the middle height clips.
When fully extended the telescopic handle gives the total height of the case of 1 metre. Fully extended the handle is 50cm long.
One disadvantage with the pull out handle takes up a lot of space on one side of the case. So reducing the amount of room available for your clothes.
Wheelability
The case has four-wheel spinners for 360 degrees movement. This allows you to move the suitcase in any direction.
The four wheels also allow you to push or pull the suitcase depending where you are.
The wheels will allow the case to move easily over the airport floor. As it has four wheels this means the suitcase will stand on its own. Having four wheels allows the suitcase to be easily pulled along roads when you are outside of the airport.
The wheels are quiet compared with other cases when pulled along the street.
Storage
How much will the case hold
The case is quite spacious with the two sides and the zipped section in the middle.
General agreement between customers is that the suitcase is best suited for short breaks of say 4 days. Realistically the case holds enough clothing for four days, 2 pairs of shoes and toiletry bag.
Suitable for short break 4 days will not really take a week’s clothes as the telescopic handle takes up space on one side of the suitcase.
The suitcase it can take a week’s worth of clothing but only if you were taking light summer clothes.
Inside width of case is 34cm and total overall width is 35.5cm.
As this is a hard shell suitcase, it does not expand to increase its size.
What’s in the case
Inside the case on one side, there are a set of elasticated packing straps to keep your clothing in place. On the opposite side, it is zipped.
In the centre between the two sides, there is a zipped divider containing elasticated pockets where you can store items so they do not move around in the suitcase, while travelling. The zippers will lock independently if you require.
In addition, there are two small pockets inside. Unfortunately there is no external pouch for items like newspapers.
The inside of the case can be unzipped, which is good if you have to clean it following spillages.
Size and Weight
This is the smallest size in this range of suitcase and is approved for cabin luggage with all airlines.
The suitcase measures 55x35x20cm (which is the maximum IATA approved size). This measurement includes wheels and with the handle retracted.
The weight of the case when empty is 2.50kg. It has a capacity of 33L.
Locks
There is a 3-digit combination paddock, which comes with the case. The lock is not a TSA approved lock. It is a plastic lock which some customers found a bit flimsy when using. Therefore, if you are looking for better security it is worth buying an extra lock separately.
The default password for the lock is 000. To operate open the lock; pull the loop away from the lock. At the same time adjust the number dials to the code you require. Finally release the loop and close the lock. Your new number is now set.
Style and Appearance
This suitcase is very stylish in appearance and well constructed. The case is lightweight but has a rugged appearance, which gives it its strength. Inside it is organised with zips and pouches.

This is a lightweight soft cabin case lightweight soft cabin case suitable for carry on luggage.
It meets the cabin luggage requirements for British Airways, Easy jet and jet2.
It is made of lightweight but tough polyester, which is hard wearing.
The case has a lightweight frame, two wheels and retractable handle, which makes it easy to transport.

This soft case is constructed using jacquard polyester. This material is lightweight, hardwearing and rip resistant. The polyester fabric stands up well to the rigors of modern travelling.
Customer have said that the case does last, having survived repeated journeys. On customer said, they had used it for three years and it was still in good condition.
The Zippers
The case has good quality zips, which do not catch in the surrounding fabric.
The Handle
The case has a strong retractable handle. This handle adjusts to two separate height settings. The padded handle grip both at the top and on the side of the case allows for easy comfortable carrying.
You can hid the extendable handle using the zip over flap.
Wheelability
The case has a stable two-wheel base. The wheels contain metal bearings, which means they roll smooth. Making the case easy to pull.
The anti-slip base and feet allow the suitcase to stand freely and not top over when in use.
The two stable wheels are located in the outside corners, which is the best position for them to be.
As it only has two wheels this does not allow the case to travel sideways, which would be useful as it, is quite wide.
The only improvement, I think, is if it was to have four wheels rather than two.
The suitcase is easy to move around the airport, on, and off buses.
The wheels are a bit noisy when pulling along the ground compared to similar cases.
Storage
How much will the case hold
The case will fit enough luggage for a week’s holiday. As long as you are packing summer clothes and not coats or thick jumpers.
One customer said they managed to fit two pair of shoes, six dresses, two pairs of shorts, four tea shirts, five swimming costumes and all other essential items.
Because the case only has two wheels, the inner size is bigger than cases with four wheels. Therefore, you have more room for packing your clothes.
Because the case only has two wheels, it is best to pack heavier items like shoes at the wheel end.
What’s in the case
On the outside of the case, there are two handy front pockets. A large exterior front zip pocket and a smaller top pocket. These two pockets on the outside allow you quick access to essentials.
These pockets are good for carrying paper work and books.

The case fitted the easy jet cage at the airport other smaller suitcases at the time were too fat as they exceeded the 25cm width limit. The case looks massive but easily slides into the airport bag checkers.
The suitcase fits 60 litre, which is the biggest capacity I could find while still meeting max BA easy jet dimensions.
The case is too big for Ryan Air hand luggage; you need to use the smaller case.
The case appears huge compared to other carry-on luggage. However, you have to be careful that you do not pack the suitcase to much so that it does not bulge out.
Locks
The case does not have a built in coded lock. However, included with the case is a 3-digit combination padlock.
Style and Appearance
This is a good-looking quality suitcase. Unfortunately only comes in Black, no other colour available.

What’s in the case
On the front of the outside of the case, there is a large zip pocket with a smaller top pocket. Both these pockets can be used as extra storage. These pockets are ideal for accessing your essential items.
They are useful to store items that you need quickly, as you do not have to keep opening the suitcase. The lower larger pocket will take a tablet up to 13”. This pocket is also useful to store books.
You can use the outer pockets to place items, which you need to take out and replaced once you have been through security.
The upper pocket is suitable for items such as boarding pass and your tickets.
The two pockets on the outside measure 38x29cm for the larger and 23x28cm for the smaller.
Inside the case there are packing straps with clips to hold the contents of the case in place. In the top of the case there is zipped mesh compartment.
Size and Weight
This is a 21 inch cabin suitcase and it can conveniently for slipping into overheads lockers.
The case is lightweight only weighing 1.85kg when empty.
Locks
The case comes with a 3 digit barrel type paddock which allows you to secure your case. The lock that comes with the case is a bit rubbish. But as it is aerolite hand luggage you do not need to lock the case anyway.
